Blaming it on RNG avoids their pride getting scratched, right?Īfter 10000 (TEN Thousand) plus battles, more than 60 ships I had hoped that I would be able to hit a target with consistency and do damage, but it is not meant to be while playing warships. The problem is that some people blame it on RNG and don't realize they're usually the ones who don't really know how to play the game. You need to know which part of the enemy ship you want your shells to land on, and you have more control over that than you think.Įnemy is maneuvering? Learn it's turn radius and rudder shift so you can predict where your shells have to land so you can get a hit anyway.ĭispersion will make you miss some of your shots, no naval warfare game will ever have high accuracy because ships never had high accuracy with their guns, it'd just break the immersion. When your shell hits, they're not doing damage? Pick the right ammo, don't fire AP at angled targets unless you can overmatch them, don't fire HE at the belt of heavily armored ships. ![]() ![]() You'll be at risk, but you'll be rewarded with higher hit ratios as well. Missing too many shots? Just engage closer.
